Hello again! I’ve been busy editing photos today so I can share with you Part 2 of our 6 year kitchen renovation.
October 2018
I was probably complaining about our jenky carpet again, I mean doesn’t everyone with 99 cents a square foot glue carpet complain about it daily? Or maybe my husband and I were once again dreaming about how great this house would look if we’d replace the floors and open up the kitchen wall once and for all. Whatever it was, we headed to Home Depot to get the process going and hey, right before the holidays is a great time for a renovation, right?!
I’ll give you a little teaser right up front- this house was begging for it!
Before! After!

Love your reno! Your hard work paid off it looks great!
I love all your designs/makeovers. What color paint did you use in your kitchen, entry way and fireplace room?
Thank you! Our living room and Entry paint is Secluded Beach, Valspar paint. Our kitchen is Simply white by Ben Moore.
Can I ask where you found your barn door? I am in love with all you did to your kitchen! Well done! So much work and love in there!
Thank you! We actually built the barn door ourselves.
I love all you did to your kitchen !!! Everything looks so beautiful. Can I ask what product did you use to seal your butcher block island? It’s such a beautiful color?
Hello! Our island is walnut so its naturally dark. The finish that I used is https://www.lowes.com/pd/WATCO-Clear-Butcher-Block-Oil-Actual-Net-Contents-16-fl-oz/3153369, it’s a wipe on finish, very easy to use.
