About 7 to 8 bags will be all you need. On the first bag that has the folded side up, make a “T” all the way down the bag as well as across the folds. Next, place the second bag fold up and glue it the same way.
Once all the bags are glued together, we will cut to create the star shape.
Now you’ll cut and angled cut on either side of the bag like shown above. This is so simple, I ended up cutting mine super wonky, but you couldn’t even tell!
Now it’s time to fan the bags out and glue them together.
Glue them together will a long line and hold them together (careful, Hot!)
I chose to glue a little hot glue in a seam and push twine in to make a hanger for the Star, love the was they turned out! The Scandinavian, simple vibe really adds so much and is so pretty! Plus total cost was about 2 dollars!
I didn’t finish my Christmas Home Tour last week, but hopefully this week! Here’s another recent diy that I’m loving. You can also check out my tutorial on the Paper Stars on my Instagram stories saved under highlights.
