Happy Monday! I’m excited to show you my Spring Kitchen! I love all styles, but combining Farmhouse with a Boho vibe is my favorite. One of my favorite things is also our midcentury dining chairs. Welcome!
Recently, I took a chance on a new paint color for my Grandma’s Hutch. I was visiting a local antique and while browsing Fusion Mineral Paint colors, I came across this one called Damask. It’s a chameleon color for sure, can be mauve or pink, purple or taupe depending on the light.
My sweet husband helped me out with the styling, who knew copper and gold would look so pretty with this color! You can read my IG post where I talked more about that here.
The Open Shelving
On the open shelves in the kitchen, I wanted to bring in a more bohemian collected farmhouse vibe. I found a lot of cute accessories at Hobby Lobby for half price and added them to my existing treasures, like this midcentury vintage canister set. I also included some houseplants, my shelves are almost a propagation station of sorts! The pathos vine and Peperomia are both growing new plants by placing cuttings in water and waiting for them to root.
While I’m not a huge fan of seasonal decor, I think by adding some vintage floral tin and houseplants, you can add an easy spring vibe that will transition right into summer!
One last photo of my Grandma’s Hutch
One last view of the simple changes I made to bring in a springtime feel, I think changing the Hutch’s color is my favorite new thing! It adds so much color to this room and it so needed it. Can you see how much it changes, depending on the light? Oh, those sweet gold and white prints are from Target, I found them on clearance for $15/ for the set and I love how they work with the hutch!
Have a great week, I recently wrote a post on our Staircase Renovation and I’d love if you’d read it!
